One of the most difficult tasks for any school is deciding which students to give scholarships. There are a lot of factors that go into this decision, and every school has their own process. Some schools have a set quota of scholarships they give out, while others have a more selective process.
Every year, the school board gathers together to discuss who should get the scholarship. They take into account different factors such as GPA, extracurricular activities, and financial need .This year, I’m really proud to say that our school got 40% scholarship money! The school board meets every day to pick who will get the scholarship .
They do not use the same process all the time, but sometimes they are looking for athletes or people who have been in a leadership position.Contributing to the school is one of my favorite parts of school!.. They will sometimes just ask for a few people to help set up for their event such as the homecoming dance. If you are interested in being a part of the organization please contact the vice president of organization!
In order to make an informed decision, the board looks at all these different aspects and then decides who will be given scholarships based on these considerations.
