Scholarships are a great way to help fund your education. They are available for all sorts of students, including international students.
The scholarships available for international students vary in their requirements and eligibility. Some scholarships require you to have excellent grades, while others require you to be from a certain country or region. There are also scholarships that are need-based and don’t require any previous academic achievements.
International students can find scholarships through the U.S Department of State, the Fulbright Program, the Center for International Education at Illinois State University, and the International Tuition Award Program (ITAP) Illinois State University also has a variety of scholarships not limited to international students. Incoming freshmen are automatically considered for the David N. Miller Scholarship.
The David N. Miller Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshman who have been admitted by the Office of Admission, as well as first-generation college students and Illinois residents with family incomes less than $75,000 per year whose families do not qualify for any other scholarship funds or financial aid.
